Official NFL Free Agency + Trades vol. It's Time.

Well there were less balls for Roy and Dez being worked into the fold because Roy was so awful during the last year after the trade. You're trying way to hard to defend Roy and that trade. May not be a lock for the picks to work out but we had bigger holes and could have filled those instead of trading them away. Trading 3 picks for a WR didn't make that team a SB contender.

Please, before you get all rolly polly on me with all those emoticons, why don't you check out his stats the first 6 games of last season. And then, once you've removed the foot from your mouth, apologize for your ignorance and proceed with your life.

I have no argument yet no one will dispute the facts I've brought forward? That my friends deserves my first ever

In the first 5 games with a healthy quarterback, after his first full season with said quarterback, he was averaging 15 yards per catch and had 5 touchdowns. All that while being part of an offense consisting of Jason Witten, Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and three running backs. When Romo got hurt and they were something like 0-54, yes it seemed as though he gave up on the season.

And if you would like to go back to 2009, Miles Austin had one of the best receiving seasons ever in 12 games and Jason Witten caught like 100 balls. Yes, Roy Williams was not as good as Miles Austin that year, but very few were. You are looking for 1 stats from a 3rd option as a result of his quarterback's decision making. Roy Williams' days in Dallas were a product of Tony Romo's inability to get accustomed to throwing the ball up to a taller receiver.

no.... get your stats right.
his first full season he had 7 tds. and aveaged only 39 yards a game. NOT DOMINATION.

his second full season (last year) he averaged 35 yards a game and had 5 tds. get your stats right. and again, NOT DOMINATION.

now, Dez Bryant as a rookie with a backup QB and who didn't start off the bat.... 46 yards a game in 12 games. with 6 tds.
miles austin has 65 yards a game with 7 tds. again, backup qb.
Yards per catch is crap... you have two catches of 15 yards.... guess what, your average is 15 yards. your total average every game is only 30.... not good.
that is all... you may go.

edit: because he was Brought in to replace TO and be a number 1. what is this kid talking about?..... i'm done with this guy. keep your head in the sand man.
can't stand talkin to people who don't know football, is a homer, or talks against the grain just to do so.

So the 10 games in 08 don't count as getting work in the offense? 19 catches in 10 games. He should have been adjusted then for 09 and still had 38 catches in 15 games? Then another 37 in 15 games? That crap excuse that he would have been great this year with a healthy Romo is just that, crap. There weren't exactly any premier arms in Detroit during his first few seasons and he still put up better numbers. His fumble cost them a game that would have put them in better position for a WC. Even when the team went on their run and were scoring points, he still couldn't get involved. 13 TD's in 40 games doesn't make him worth what we gave up in picks.

Owens is the same height as Roy but yea Tony couldn't get the ball up to a taller receiver.

I like that the Cowboys cut Barber and Williams but they are now relying on two unproven guys in Dez and Murray

I wouldn't doubt that the Raiders did offer Cromartie a big deal though. They know they have to act quick since they're the one team that knows that they aren't getting Nnamdi.

Addition by subtraction my man. Roy Williams just plugging things up since he wasn't producing like he should have been. Romo we'll make it easier for the younger guys to learn and develop. Shouldn't be a big deal.
