Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

I got the Daytonas as well and it has not arrived yet. But i like the colourway though and it represents a memory of RF as well. :D I'm an Asian, so i don't mind the asian made 577s or 1600s or 998s or what. Just hate those asian made 574s, cos it hurts my leg like a b*tch! LOL

Honestly, I don't care where the New Balance is made from. I just care about their color combination lol. All that extra stuff is nice like the theme and different material, but to me that's just hype. I try to look at the shoes by itself and decide if I really like it or not. With all these people in the sneaker community mentioning how great some shoes are, it's easy to get sucked into the hype. So I use the step-back approach whenever I think about buying a certain pair of shoes.

As for the Daytona's, I can see why not a lot of people like them. EBay and other sneaker marketplace is flooded with them for retail. I like them but I think it'll go below retail soon.

I dont even know how to feel right now.

Paying homage to the traditional British Three Peaks challenge, which dares participants to climb three of UK’s highest peaks within 24 hours, the classic 576 model receives a makeover that readies for the outdoors. The “Ben Nevis,” “Scarfell” and “Snowden” all feature aspects that are often seen in modern climbing equipment, and each pair see their corresponding mountains stitched at the tongue along with a compass icon on the insole. Retailing for £130 (approximately $220 USD), the New Balance “Three Peaks Pack” will be available January 1st at select retailers including Size?, Foot Patrol, End, Hanon, Offspring and Crooked Tongues.

who the hell would want the word "hypebeast" imprinted on their kicks???
LOL exactly, but apparently the Fimbly factory
designed 2 extra 576's after making a "one-off"
So they're holding a "contest" for them.

So not too many people would want to, thankfully.

Yeah wow, the 999's stand out massively out of the three in that pack for me. The other two are definitely good too, the 1600 my second choice. Shape looks good in that photo though for sure. And 580's are always a whole lot of shoe for the money. Excited for the new year.

Those gray 999s are real nice. Debated getting the Americanas from St Alfred, but overslept.
