Thanks for the pics of the soul swingmans. Can you confirm that a legit soul swingman will always have the players name and number on the jock tag?

yes for most of them they will have,but some didn't have it

Those are all "retired" players so I think that the jocktag name is a retired thing. Likewise I'm guessing CURRENT throwbacks have no name, like these for example

Seems the only thing they share are the years that particular jersey was worn but obviously placement is different.

Yeah but that's just a stock catalog pic. I would rather go buy the actual product itself, so if anybody has a Larry Bird jersey that would be great to post up.
 
that just looks like the standard tagging of the 'international' HWC Swingmans, without the trefoil logo on the shoulder. here's a real pic of an AI I got recently:

I don't really buy swingmans anymore but for $25 shipped i couldn't pass this one up!

Crazy I've never seen that. No Adidas logo or actual jocktag. You said this is the International version?

Are the names iron down tackle twill too? I ask because I heard someone else say only the numbers are iron down tackle twill and the name is screen print.

I'm looking to get a custom Blazers jersey too.

Well, it might just be a Europe thing but I think other places have those too. the generic jock tag kinda sucks but it looks a lot cleaner without the trefoil if you ask me! I've got an older Dr J like that as well:

...But then back then I had also bought a Spud Webb jersey from the same retailer and this one has the usual tagging and the trefoil like the US jerseys so go figure!

Just out of interest where did you get the Sixers jersey from? Im in the UK and all of the Swingman I have bought here have had the Adidas logo
 
JD Sports. The other jerseys they had back then had the adidas logo and the standard jock tag though.

How long ago did you purchase your jerseys? I assume you're talking about Hardwood Classics/Soul Swingman jerseys as well?

I suspect the no trefoil + generic jock tag has pretty much become the norm now for Europe but it was more of an exception back when I bought that Dr J.

I've seen other jerseys bought from nbastore.eu that were like that as well (although the stock photos have the trefoil and the standard jock tag).

Ah ok, I know that JD was selling swingmans for a while, Think they had Kings and Lakers jersey in store aswell,

Yeah im talking Hardwood Classics/Soul Swingmans, Saying that I got alot of mine from places that Imported the jerseys from the US so that is maybe why mine all have the standard tagging etc.

NBASTORE.EU has the Adidas tagging on most of it's jerseys, However there maybe some that don't not checked all jerseys to be honest
