So what's wrong with Beal? He was so hyped during the draft. Does he need Wall to facilitate for him or something?

rookie wing players usually dont ball out their first year... give him time

Spurs sitting Duncan, Manu and Parker in November again? :rollin

Every year Pop rests his guys, every year it never matters. :hat

Why are you guys talking about Brook Lopez and other things that don't matter? This should still be the topic of conversation:
*Heard Gerald Wallace got ejected b/c he's over 30 rocking box braids.

Sidebar: LOL at Jeremy Lamb getting sent to the D-League. I know it's better than not playing, but he's a surefire top player in this class. Insulting. Some bad team should just go ahead and trade for him.

Ehh, seeing the way the Thunder develop players, I wouldn't 2nd guess them. He might as well get some PT and play alot in the D-League for a lil bit. I'm sure they'll call him back up soon if he does work

:lol it was so funny when people thought Lamb and Jones were surefire contributors THIS season. They thought the Thunder bench was going to beast lol. I like both rookies, but they were not going to get time on a contending team. I wish Lamb would've stayed in Houston, though.

Spurs Send Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Green Home; Will Play Nine Against Heat

The San Antonio Spurs have sent four of their top-five leading scorers back home instead of playing the Miami Heat on Thursday in a nationally televised game.

Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green did not travel with the team after Wednesday night’s win in Orlando.

The Spurs were already without Kawhi Leonard and Stephen Jackson.

Gregg Popovich will have nine active players.

“We’re getting tired,” Popovich said. “We’ve had a six-day trip and a 10-day trip. Usually you don’t have that in one month.”

Goin against your own case aren't ya? Dude gets more boards in half the time, that's not good.

I'm not saying he's a good rebounder, I'm just showing that others are grabbing those boards - so it's not that big of a deal. Just like D12 went from 14 to 10 (aka elite rebounder to very good rebounder) - Kris/Evans might be turning Brook Lopez from an average rebounder (lets say 8) to a bad rebounder (like 6 per game). Evans is also on another level of rebounding. He's on his own planet.

I don't think Brook is elite. To be an elite center, you should excel in more than one area with a bonus going towards defense, since center's can make or break a defense. I would argue that he's elite on offense and pretty good/average in other areas. Brook isn't going to transform a team like Dwight would BUT if you put a good team and system around him, you can win a ton of games.

We do have this Brook Lopez argument every year... I'm just glad we're doing it while the Nets are 10-4 :smokin :smokin

I hear ya. I got nothin on the guy, I always laugh at 7 footers that don't get a lot of boards. Was just menitoning the point about Evans was all.

Idk if you caught this because of the edit but how does Evans/Humphries stealing his boards explain this?
Still, the Nets were an average defensive rebounding team in 2010-11, and they'll hold their own whenever Humphries is on the floor. What happens when he hits the bench is unclear; their defensive rebounding rate in 2010-11 plummeted from 76.8 percent to a league-worst-level 70.9 percent when Lopez played without Humphries.

Pops dont give a **** if it's on TNT :lol

This is useless but I'm bored enough to respond. I agree that Brook isn't a great rebounder but let me show you the non-Humphries lineups in 2010-2011. Be ready to laugh.

Harris-Graham-Outlaw-Favors-Lopez
Harris-Morrow-Outlaw-Favors-Lopez
Harris-Morrow-Outlaw-Murphy-Lopez
Farmar-Vujacic-Graham-Gadzuric-Lopez

That's a rookie Favors by the way.

That should put that number in perspective a little bit. He was a decent rebounder (rookie/soph year he averaged 8+) and he regressed to bad that year. I think this year, if you watch the Nets play, you see a visible improvement. Yesterday, he grabbed 10 boards in 17 minutes. Avery still plays him alongside Hump or Evans to protect him because he's not that good.

Can't believe Pop is resting Danny Green too, isn't this like his 3rd year in the league? :lol

Patty Mills, Gary Neal, Bonner, Blair/Diaw, Splitter?

All of their forwards are hurt, so I don't know who in the hell they will get to play SF. I guess they could get Diaw to play SF.

Pop must be like idgaf if we win or lose won't hurt us either way :lol

:eek if they still beat the heat with 9 no-names.
