Im saying yall are actually trying to predict how the Celtics season will turn out based on the beginning of the season? The C's dont give a **** about these games son all that matters is the ECF when they play the Heat. These games do not matter because when it comes to the East its the Heat, the Celtics, and everyone else. Only people who care about these games are pimple faced fantasy basketball playing NTers

I would be surprised if Rondo's suspension is anything less than 5 games. 5 to 10 games is the range I'm thinking Rondo will receive.

I don't think Rondo will receive more games than Ron got for that elbow he slumped Harden with.



This was a cat fight with the pushing and shoving. The most egregious part that will piss Stern off is the fact that it went into the stands. 5 games seems about right, but who really knows.

I heard similar reactions when i said the C's would take it to 7 games last year. Holla at me in the playoffs. Thats all the Celtics care about. They'll gladly let everyone else wear themselves out while they chill and get hype for the tournament. Last year they were under 500 at the all star break and were one missed call from the Finals. These games are entertaining but they dont matter. For example, the Knicks lookin pretty good but we all know Amare and Shump will be hurt come playoff time and Melo will lead his team to ANOTHER first round exit while the Celtics make a deep playoff run. Its like clockwork out here.

But Brook is honestly a matchup nightmare. He pulls opposing centers away from the basket and changes defenses. For example in the Lakers game, the Lakers couldnt even put their best defender (Dwight) on Brooke, because he played so far away from the rim that they were forced to defend him with Pau (who got torched).

If you want your 7 foot center out there shooting 20 footers every night, be my guest.

I'll take my chances on those shots not dropping consistently every night and if I remember correctly, he was hot in the first half, and in the second half it went away, did it not?

But dude can score in the post VERY effectively, but a smart basketball player finds a good shot. would you rather him try to post up Dwight, or score on Pau away from the basket? Dude is extremely versatile, and is a 50% shooter for his career. He is also 5-12 from 3.

DBD gets excited every season about the Spurs having the same success they've had the previous seasons. Why you just can't wait til around playoff time before talking mess? At least I'm getting excited for my team going to new heights. Spurs do this **** every year

He was only shooting 20 footers because it's stupid to try and post up Dwight. He maybe takes one or two jumpers a game, besides that, all his work is near the basket. I don't know why people say stuff like this acting like there aren't STATS that prove them completely wrong.

Check it. 6.7 FGs made within 9 feet of the rim. Only .6 FGs made per game further than 16 feet.

Don't judge him based on one game (where he didn't play well) even though he's done work against the Lakers in the past.



Matchup "nightmare" is probably a strong word but he's one of the best post up players in the league, he could shoot it out to 18 foot, he can drive past slower defenders, he can catch and finish and he makes his free throws. I don't think you could say that about any other 7 footer in the league. He's not perfect but he's damn good. His rebounding could be better BUT the Nets have a pair of elite rebounders (Hump and Reggie Evans), so it's not that big of a deal. Trust me, the Nets are not worried about rebounding.

You aint nostradamus good sir. Im all for predictions but a blanket statement like this is asinine. The Celtics are STACKED. Its going to take them a while to get accustomed to each other. Its a completely new team. Theyre young, theyre fast, they got fresh legs and they hungry.
