He was clearly still reacting as a defender there, not being a ****. There never should have been a first to lead to a second.

And how a professional referee didnt comprehend this, is beyond me.He was clearly still reacting as a defender there, not being a ****. There never should have been a first to lead to a second.
Eh when you actually play ball in a game and the ref makes a call, literally whatever you are doing that second still carries on. In games if someone gets called on a drive and he goes up, its still my naturally reaction to try to block it or atleast jump. If you get called for a foul on something like that youre eye is still on the ball and you just slap it away even knowing the whistle just blew.I disagree that he was still defending there... but either way.
Jae Crowder is my man, but he's almost shooting better from three (about 41%) than from the line (about 43).
Probably talking about 08-09, my favorite season from him by far. He was phenomenal that season.
It's just sad to see that he's a shell of his former self, relatively early in his career. You see Kobe making it to his 18th season and looking like he could easily play another 5 more, same for Tim Duncan, KG, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen,a few more. And then you see Wade looking like he may not be able to play past his 13th.
You can tell by the way he plays now on the rare occasion he's on the floor. He's always been a streaky shooter since his days at Marquette, and when it's going he looks great. But what always made him special as a tweener was his length and fantastic athletic ability which hid his inability to shoot well consistently. Now that it appears that that athleticism is fading, he's regulated to that struggle. We all know that struggle too, that whole trying to beat people off the dribble and them being still there, throwing up garbage around the rim and crying for fouls, turning it over, that struggle.
This is what I'm saying. He was already in the process of trying to swipe the ball away, and furthermore other players do things like this all the time that dont get techs, Kevin Garnets snatch the ball out of the air move comes to mind. This was not tech worthy by any stretch of the imagination. If DMC got teched for that then this should have been a tech everytimeEh when you actually play ball in a game and the ref makes a call, literally whatever you are doing that second still carries on. In games if someone gets called on a drive and he goes up, its still my naturally reaction to try to block it or atleast jump. Undeserved but agreed that maybe his rep got him that. Maybe the game was also tightly called when that tech flew and refs really wanted to keep it in order.
DMC getting techs is equivalent to Melo not getting foul calls.
The refs definitely have it out for certain players. Superstar or not.
thats the thing tho....he's not those guys. We all know the rules aren't fair in terms of superstars and techs. Maybe DMC just doesn't know that
@johnschuhmann Awful news: Kevin McHale's daughter Sasha passed away Saturday afternoon.
