Maybe he cussed, but even if so that wasn't much. He did "gesture" with his body like in a pouty manner, maybe the ref read it as a threat to hit him. Still seems very weak of an ejection. Reputation.

He actually appeared really calm throughout the entire encounter

I agree his reputation has led to him getting not as long a leash per say as other NBA players with no prior history, but still dude needs to just ignore all the bad calls. He's KILLING his squad by missing games....

Tyreke has been on a nice run these last couple games. But his D has been on point all season long

Stupid technical for slapping at the ball .00001 seconds after the whistle was blown, then a second one for disagreeing with said stupid technical. That's the ref's ejection.

And he was even calmly discussing it, but then turned his back and said something. Maybe it was what he said, but didn't they make it a point of emphasis that saying something away from the official's face wouldn't be penalized a few years ago?

Clowns.

no DMC is the clown. Dude has to understand the whole tough guy/cry baby act is getting old. He has a rep and he's 3 years in the league. Grow up. Rasheed used to get "picked on" too but is it really picking on when you act like a d-bag at the drop of a hat? Dude fouled Kanter then slapped the ball. Why? I don't think that deserved a tech but...his rep got him that one. So then instead of shutting up he goes over to the ref, argues some more and then made a "buck" or jump at the ref while saying something.

Like what do you expect? Does he expect to be treated differently? A different set of rules? Dude needs to get it together. No reason you get ejected from a game in the 3rd and hurt your teams chances at winning. He's been doing this since Kentucky. Maybe one day he will realize he's the one that has to change because the league and refs are more important than him.
