Spurs in the finals and Doo be Doo is nowhere to be found. It just doesn't seem right. that man needs to be unbanned if he's currently banned

I cant even remember which furthers the point that he should be unbanned. It was something minor and inconsequential that got him banned.

Spurs are not a team that will be rusty due to a sweep. For them rest > having their series closer to each other.

Theyre a vet team, theyre older so rest is key and more time for them to come up with a strategy vs. MIA

Spurs could of definetly use Stephen Jackson to defend Lebron..

and so is everyone else...if you listened to the post game talks, sportscenter etc... the talk was how epic it would be for the spurs to beat the heat...how most of their chips came from clearly inferior teams, with the exception of 99 and that was a lockout year.

Everyones playing the same amount of games, its an even playing field. Inferior teams? We played the teams that we were matched up against. The Nets were the best team in the East that year and it wasnt even close, and that Pistons team just beat the almighty Lakers the year before. Lets not act like we didnt have to go through the West to get to the Finals also. People need to stop with all that noise.

i told you it was magic jalen...wilborn etc.... the crew and the nba gametime crew... I agree but dont agree...I agree that those chips shouldnt be seen as tainted etc... But i also agree that a spurs victory over this miami heat is more epic then the shorten season knicks...or the one man band that was the cavs..

Yea i get what your saying those other teams deserved to be in the finals etc... But in terms of talent etc...you cannot compare the nets lol to this current heat team. And a spurs victory in many eyes including mines would be more epic then beating the cavs.

Everyone just pretty much dismissed the thought of a spurs/pacers final. Hell even magic was like this sweep will be good for the spurs cause they need all the rest they can get against miami. Wilborn was like the time will give pop ample enough time to come up with a gameplan to stop or slow down lebron.

all true... but again you have to look at the road and the competition and caliber of teams and players. Its funny ppl use your argument to defend their current teams championship, or to defend an individual player success....but yet in still this theory/mindset goes right out the window when for example a bill russell is mentioned and his 11 chips.or john havlicek with his 10...so on and so forth.

More I think about it I just don't think the spurs can win. It would take an epically bad shooting series for the heats role players. Chi and Indy has better defense. Heat will be relieved to go against the spurs defenders.

Brian Windhorst just reported that the league has been on a winning streak ratings wise for the last couple of years. In which he says if you notice the Spurs have not been deep in the playoffs during that time period, and has you know it they go deep this year and ESPN took a ratings plunge in the conference finals. WOW.( I am excited to see the Spurs, basic basketball at its best) The only storyline they can drum up for the finals is : that the Spurs and Heat really have not played in the last few years because of sitting players or LeBron getting revenge from 2007 with a totally different team. But it is funny how on most shows people are putting the Heat in the finals already....

The Bulls did bring the fight to Miami. They were lacking their main guys, but I ain't calling that team a nobody either. Those cats earned my respect.

And I ain't hating on a team for having an easy road to the finals. That's just the hand that they were dealt. As they say, luck somewhat always figures in the way to a championship.
