we're not going to make it deep in the playoffs, first of all. And it won't be because we are sans Kobe. it will be because he is a major, major component to our team, and BAM... he's gone. imagine being a truck driver with all kinds of luxuries in your diesel... GPS, super cold AC... then BAM, all of it is gone. it would take awhile for you to get used to being w/o those flashy things. you could get back to long road trips where you rough it, no problem, but right away? It would be rough, no doubt.

we're not going to make it deep in the playoffs, but I am fully confident that we will do some things next season that absolutely no one... No, very few people... Expect us to do. I'm not predicting a championship, but we will not be a bottom feeder. Bet that.

that all relies on howard re signing and nash healthy and by the way of how it looks that dude will probably retire in the offseason

I knew some people were going to say the Lakers are better without Kobe after this game :lol

Wait til you see their perimeter get eaten up by Durant and Westbrook. :{ There will be a game where they lose by 25 points

what is this weird Lakers 'Nation' squabble going on here
nerd.gif
aint no squabble. some of us try a little too hard to be liked on here and try to put other people or should I say fans down. kissing butt and everything. its all good though. it aint hard to tell who is who...
I have seriously have no idea what you're talking about
laugh.gif

you talking about the dude who posted the pic of the turd?

Ska has a great point. There are Laker fans, then there are the Kobe Laker fans.

I

there is no laker fans and kobe laker fans

its either you are a laker fan or a player fan.

lebron has those types of fans as well. hell any popular players do.

case in point antidote is a steph curry fan who wants to see him do well. but hes a spurs fan.

dudes in here trying way too hard to put down people who support the lakers.

what? :lol is the kings decision this week?

im sorry i am no kings fan but some of them seattle dudes be trying way too hard to put down sacramento...

you are way out of touch with reality if you don't think there are people who claim Lakers loyalty but really only claim that loyalty because they are Kobe fans, and will absolutely not be Laker fans 10 years from now.

that is being called a fan of a player.

do you honestly think even the craziest kobe fanatics on here want the lakers to fail just because kobe isnt on the team?

Ya the Board of Governors meetings start Wednesday.

And ya, its weird to see how gloaty/kick-em-while-they're-down/borderline cynical some of the Seattlites have been about this, hell not even Seattlites but I feel like the general NBA fan is having a kick out of seeing Sacramento lose the Kings. I understand that Seattle is way more awesome than Sacramento, but idk why some people find some sick pleasure in this. Especially when keeping the Kings in Sacramento would set a standard and write the book of how to keep a team.... Something Seattle could have used back in 08.

not tryna talk crap but sleep train arena is like the worst nba arena around :lol

I like it just because it's smaller and even the crappy seats aren't that bad. $80 ticket there is like a $150 ticket at Staples lol.

i think it has partly to do with how shaq and phil jackson ripped sac during the laker/kings rival.

all that stuff was covered by espn and what not.

if balmer n the gang have all the money in the world why not just bribe stern some money to get a new franchise? :lol

that is a bonafide fact. I think it could even qualify as the worst major pro sports facility in America..... no joke.

Like its on Candlestick/O.co status with how terrible it is....

But hey, at least Mayor Kevin Johnson has come up with two viable arena plans, one that was even put together in conjunction with the NBA and agreed upon with the Maloofs!

And then another one that, by all accounts, is an even better arena deal/plan than the previous that was already approved by the NBA.

I'm 99.99999% positive that if the Kings stay, Seattle will get an expansion or relocation team in the next 3-5 years easy.

Some Seattlites are delusional enough to believe that this saga will end with the Kings heading to Seattle and Sacramento getting a promise of an expansion team

If NBA basketball leaves Sacramento, it ain't coming back... not in our lifetime

Yup. I hope that everything works out for Sac.

And yo.. Is this Rick Kamla doing the commentating? Lol
