Chris webber is soooo unnatural as a commentator. You can tell that he's trying to talk proper.
Get outta here man. C-Webb is great on TV. Him and Jalen are the realest out.

You're just used to people talking like they have a stick up their ***.

 jalen isn't the best but he's ok. Mark Jackson was ok. Webber sounds mad forced, like he's trying to impress a certain crowd. Jvg keeps it real and he doesn't sound snobby at all. If u like c webb, fine.

You're buggin... Webber is great. Mark Jackson was AWFUL.

JVG is the man obviously

Are you being serious right now? I'm really not sure if youre serious

Dead serious. Dude is like an NB2K announcer with fewer recorded lines and less insight... So many cliches...

I think I said that earlier in the thread.

As I stated earlier, mark jackson is ok. Not one of the best, but ok. At least he's natural and doesn't sound forced. Same with jalen. He's not great, but at least he speaks naturally. Webber sounds so fake and forced that it's unbearable. Even the man with THEE most annoying voice/reggie miller, speaks naturally.

That's a really weird criticism. What is "speaking naturally" and who cares. Is this like a Rob Parker thing? There's nothing wrong with CWebb's voice.

Webber is great, I don't get the criticism. Unless this is a cornball brotha thing I'm not aware of. Seeing some subtle code speak. Maybe not so subtle lol

IDK, maybe I'm old school but when I'm listening to a commentator I pay attention to the actual insight they're giving, not their vocal intonation. Nothing about his speech bothers me noticeably.

If you want to hear a good "voice" you might as well put the game on mute and listen to Andrea Bocelli.
