What was A.J.'s pitchcount? I assume that's the only reason they took him out (I would hope so, he was obviously dominating).

I hate hearing Met fans (especially my friends) saying how "Oh, look at our linepup." I for one, do not give a $*%! about their lineup. We arewinning, that's all that matters. Sure, if we were in their situation, I would say once, maybe twice "Oh, look at your lineup", but then realizeyou have to win with what you have. The 3 errors in the 1st inning of Fridays game didn't help their cause, but it sure did help ours

Wang on the mound for us, hope his sinker is hard tonight.

Mets fans just like to make excuses.

BTW, Burnett threw 108 pitches last night.

Yanks are getting hot, but Wang's pitching next game so I'm prepared to take an L.

When half your team is on the DL, I wouldn't necessarily call it an "excuse".

I DO agree that we simply have to win with what we have.

But at the same time, what we have right now isn't exactly major league talent.

I know man.

It'll probably be back.

But for now I gotta rock this one to pay homage.

I'm inclined to agree with this post.

He better get his first win of the year.

how is the injury bug an €xcuse"?

its one thing to have a few injuries, but 3 of the 4 core
guys are out, 2 starters out, wags /putz out all year....you have Tatis and Church batting cleanup
and bench guys playing out of position. see how well the Yanks do without 3 of their 4 best guys in the lineup.o_O

the current lineup is good for 2-3 wins a week max
(if at that), Yankees SHOULD be winning or sweeping
this weekend otherwise they should be ashamed of themselves.

ya'll reaching with this "excuse" nonsense, they have minor leaguers
all over the place. All they can do is get base hits or like Jerry said, rely on mistakes from
the other team to score. its a struggle.

^ o aight.. Bret probably had a late push.. I think it was the 7th inning of the game when the poll was looking like that

I have a feeling melky is gonna get traded with a prospect for a defensive corner outfielder that we could play in either right or left.. 1 of those deadlinedeals that propels a good team to a world series contender... and after joba gets his innings count up he will be put back in the pen the yanks will be SERIOUSworld series contenders.
