Definitely. The games now don't matter but you don't want to go struggling into the playoffs...the last couple of years it's usuallybeen the team that gets the hottest at the right time goes on to win the 'chip...so let's hope they keep this momentum until the end of October.

I don't want the team to face Detroit though...facing Verlander twice in a 5 game series...nahhhhh, I'm good.

If your gonna give the award off of just numbers its teixeira's award 295. 39, 121 compared to 367. 28, 91 teixgot it but if your gonna give it off the team "most valuable player" I would have to say jete, dude deserved it in 06' with similar numbers andain't get it this should be his year

Twins win today is big.. if they win tomorrow verlander will have to pitch Saturday which means we will not face verlander in game 1!

Actually, the Tigers will have Verlander pitch Sunday if it comes down to it.

Don't hold out hope. This thing will most likely be wrapped up tonight. The only way it isn't is if we win and they lose because then we'd be only1.0 GB with two to play. I don't like our chances....
