My man, can you please clarify the differences between those older run 1985 NBA All-Star jerseys made in USA and the more current versions made in China? I've been curious about all that.

It really piqued my curiosity now, especially with how you emphasized your suggestion to that dude.

I’m not much of a photographer, but the made in USA is just quality all around.

It’s not cookie-cutter either like the newer runs...it fits like an actual jersey.

Newer runs are moreso for fashion...barely any breathability in the mesh.

Made in USA you can see every damn hole in the mesh in HD.

It’s just beautiful :pimp:

Damn it I copped the Nuggets shorts ... To good of a deal to pass on especially with the shoprunner free 2 day shipping

Now I just need the classic jazz shorts and both OG Heat shorts in Red & Black

Who cares if you aren't a photographer? These are viable photos! And I really appreciate you taking time to address my inquiry. 👍

Good quality indeed because that was pretty much a formality with the jerseys made in USA. 😎

Thanks for helping me recall the screen-printed jerseys made in USA had holes in the ink too just like the game worn versions did. I know because I used to have a 1988 NBA All-Star jersey of Magic Johnson that I posted on here last year and it was similar to yours, but I had to purge it because it was cut too big and the period after the E on the back should have been a dot instead of the square that was on mine.

But seeing this also corroborates the asinine tradeoffs between jerseys made in USA and jerseys made in China that I expounded on previously. 🙄

Made in USA jerseys had outstanding quality, workmanship, and materials, but they had discrepancies with the font sizes and coloration of the jersey material and the letters and numbers. They were also cut too big. That's why I had to purge all my jerseys made in USA.

Jerseys made in China clearly have lower quality than jerseys made in USA, but at least they get the font sizes and coloration correct a majority of the time.

I feel sorry for you that Mitchell & Ness f'd up your jersey with the color pattern of the vertical stars. Take a look at these photos to see the discrepancies. Like the star on top of the right side should begin with a red one, not the blue one on yours.

But as long as you're happy with yours, that's what matters. Discrepancies like that drive me nutty though. I wish yours had design detail accuracy to go with the quality because it would have been perfect that way. At least it's an authentic and not a sorry piece of 💩 swingman jersey.
