He did what he needed to do, make it about the music instead of instagram or twitter. That's where he was getting killed. And the odds were already stacked against him with the number of groupies Drake has. He had some points, but it was getting lost and he was looking sensitive like Chris Brown.

...and that's exactly why he needs to quit dropping verses over Drake tracks and abandon his idea of dropping the same day as views. He can definitely get his spot in the game back but he doesn't need to help the folks who are going to associate everything he does with Drake.

drake looking funny in the light . all the records from views so far have been wack and i thought summer sixteen would've been a lot bigger
if vft6 is anything like what he's been putting out , along with the ghost writing aura around him , meek is back in full effect by summer . all he has to do is start touching the streets again when he's off probation cause it feels like the music is there . i wasn't the biggest meek fan before , but when he fell back , you saw how big of a void there was without him . no one has that energy . i hope drake pulls it together but this is rocky bruh

All Meek gotta do is stay on track with the 4/4 tapes. A lot of people still mess with Meek. Especially after all the smoke cleared in that situation and people see that everything he said about Drake was true. His execution was just emotional and dumb.
