And this is the problem with people.  There WAS action.  Just not the action that YOU wanted.  

YOU were sold on the "fight of the century" stuff.  You fell for the okey-doke.  If you knew Floyd, you would've known that the fight tonight was going to be just like he fought it.  The guy doesn't change and he damn sure wasn't going to change after being undefeated after 47 fights.

He simply neutralized Manny like he has done with every other opponent.  Manny probably would've like more of the action that you were hoping for, too.  But that's how good Mayweather is--he completely neutralized a GREAT fighter in Pac.  

Boxing is entertainment for us, but these dudes owe fans nothing when it comes to making something entertaining.  They're fighting to win, by any means necessary.

i didn't mind the waiting and i love the hype behind the fight, but the fight itself was boring.

This ain't like watching film in the NFL when you're only dealing with a week or so...5 years is a long *** time in boxing years. LONG.

And I never said Floyd wouldn't win. The perspective comes strictly from that of a boxing fan. I wanted 5 years ago not just because they were both still at their peaks, but because I felt the hype back then could have done something in helping the sport grow more than I think it ever will have today.

I'm not a fan of boxing so I can't say I am a Pac fan but I didn't enjoy what I saw from Mayweather. What I saw was equivalent to a Hack a Shaq strategy. A worn out strategy but none the less effective in stagnating the opponent's offense. Yall applaud Mayweather because winning is all that matters but for those who were watching it for entertainment, they did not get their money's worth. I just saw 12 rounds of clinching and running around in circles. Mayweather did not want to engage in any exchanges. Even if I was a Pac fan, clinching and landing more insignificant punches doesn't make Floyd the unanimous winner...
