This is why the Lakers need a REAL PG, it shouldn't be his responsibility to look for his teammates ALL THE TIME.
Nobody was hitting anything. Without Bynum and Gasol, all this team does is shoot 3 pointers...and like many perimeter teams, you live and die by it.
You'd figure after all the poor perimeter shooting the coaching would make "IN-GAME" adjustments and go to Plan B, but Phil is too passive andlets his players play a little too much.
Phil's going to say "oh, what a weird night", but its his responsibility to get the message to his players to change it up and attack the rim.Memphis defense is horrible yet the Lakers did them a favor with all of those 3's.

Blame Sasha.
Kobe breaking down the defense passing the ball around, but once it got to Sasha, dude chucked it up.
There is NO excuse to chuck up 14 3 pointers by oneself against a Memphis team. Or any team for that matter.
14 3's!
And it seemd like half of those came in the 4th.
The Machine.

But I wish I could say that EXACT same thing and have it be received from me as well as people are going to receive it from you.You say it, and people respond with 'Well, it's really not his fault, kind sir.' and 'It's slightly unfair of you to place the blame on Kobe.' I say that exact same thing and it's 'Sure, keep blaming Kobe.Whatever, dude.' and 'Dammit, what the hell is your problem?Did you freaking see anyone else? Who the hell is he supposed to pass it to?' and 'And you call yourself a Lakers fan.'
