I blame Kobe, he froze everyone out early and even though he kept them close and even got the Lakers the lead, he didn't get his teammates involved enoughwhich is why they went 22-67 (33%) including 6-28 (21%) from 3. Passssssss the ball you Dirty Snake.

Kobe breaking down the defense passing the ball around, but once it got to Sasha, dude chucked it up.
There is NO excuse to chuck up 14 3 pointers by oneself against a Memphis team. Or any team for that matter.

And it seemd like half of those came in the 4th.

kobe should have started the game how he played in the 4th. too bad his teammates had no rhythm when he jacked up 12 shots in the first. what's moreeering is kobe is the one who started jacking up 3s (though he made them) and the lakers followed the leader and kept jacking up 3s.

Lol @ people making excuses for this team. I'm not a Laker hater, I'm a huge Laker fan, but two losses to two terrible teams is unacceptable. I meanit's not like the Lakers played a great game and just happened to blow it at the end. They played "turrrible" throughout. 43 3 point shots and nodefense is pathetic. These two games as well as that loss to the Kings a week or so ago should have all been wins. They should be top of the west.

I don't see how you can blame Kobe...dude saw his team in numerous recent outings, with large deficits at half-time and strove--successfully I mightadd--to turn the tables on that trend. Then when it was stable, he allowed the offense to get working again. Unfortunately, nobody could hit shots, and whatseven more damning, simply because of how bad an omen it is for future prospects, the lakers can't stop a single person on defense.

Seriously how many times can the team talk about not playing with any energy at home and not playingthe right way, then come out and play the worst basketball possible. It really baffles me.

I was being sarcastic, but the Lakers seemed to make a conservative effort to NOT get Kobe the ball in the 4th, how he only gonna have 6 pts in the 4thafter 47 in the 1st 3 qtrs? Is Memphis's D that good (hell to the no, they're the worst defensive team in the NBA in terms of points allowed). Hell Iwouldn't be surprised if Phil told the other guys not to pass him the ball, yall know how he likes to teach "life lessons" during the @@#%!!$game. I have know idea why he even sat Kobe out during the 2nd half, esp at the end of the 3rd when we were down 2 but, inexplicably he took Bean out and thelead grew to 9 to start the 4th. Hell Kobe wasn't tired, just another reason Phill pissed me off a lot this season, this is not the @@#%!!$ time for yourying/yang lessons.

Im not going to blame anyone specifically for the loss. The LAKERS lost as team because they played horrible team defense and shot way to many 3's. Philneeds to teach these fools how to attack the zone instead of having them jack up shot after shot. Our players need to learn patience on offense.
I felt good about this home stand when it started, but now we might go on a 3 game losing streak with the Wizards coming to town. We better get our !%%!together.

I fear the day when Luke is going to have to be clutch and help get his girl to the hospital to delivery their baby. Luke in the clutch is probably the mostpainful thing one could ever watch. It's a shame too because he was having a decent game.
