I actually disagree, I think a different system could better utilize our other players abilities. For example, if you bring in a guy like Aaron Brooks, you could play the pick and roll with Gasol and that type of game puts Gasol in a better position to score than just dumping it off down low where he always gets manhandled. Its not just about putting guys in a position to score but using their abilities in conjunction with those situations. I always remember not being able to use Gary Payton's post up abilities in '04 simply because the triangle didn't put him in that position.Originally Posted by DaeWing

I don't think Sloan is returning. Especially not LA. Doesn't seem like he would fit with the team or city.
I read earlier today about JVG being asked about the job by a radio station. He didn't really tip his hand except just saying there would be a lot of pressure.

I dislike it when assistant coaches get promoted to head coaches. Usually doesn't end well.
I think the Lakers need to keep the triangle offense because you don't want to change the offensive scheme at this stage in Kobe's career so my pick would be Shaw.
