thats literally the only thing going for them because they are *** ugly
This makes the most sense. They termporarily extended the contract because both parties couldn't agree. UA came in and offered him a ton of money.Nah nike didn't goof. Kd is their posterboy for usa basketball. They probably extended the contract during negotiations, they couldn't come to an agreement and ua swooped in. I wouldn't surprised if he's already signed but there's a non disclosure agreed by all parties. Kd competes his nike obligations in good terms and October 1, they announce he's with under armour.
snapped this pic real quick from the 2k15 promoAnybody peep those PEs on KD IG.
IT'S 2K15 for a heads up
Many people commenting on UA's product don't even venture outside of Nike Threads on this site let alone actually try the product in real life.
And people keep saying until UA gets some "decent footwear designers" but ALOT of their designers did a lot of previous work with Nike on the same shoes many of u rave over. Fact of the matter UA is coming, other brands are coming. And that's FINE. It's good for the game.

Nike is smart tho, I guess they knew something could pop during KDs contract year with them and moved his signature releases up further and further. They still managed to get a lot of ID product and the red color of the 7 sold extremely well for them in such a short period of time
But people aren't willing to stray from nike and all of this hype here for UA, guaranteed they sell significantly less amounts of his shoes than nike. KD isn't going to make UA the new craze, that's for sure.UA sneakers are for athletes, not very fashionable but very good shoes. His choices are.. MORE money and a well round shoe that isn't fashionable or LESS money and a trendy shoe people can wear casually. To be honest it's a no brainer, fans of KD will always be fans regardless of what shoes he wears and he's getting paid a very large amount.
Do you think KD even cares? He's being paid regardless and UA shoes won't cost as much like he wanted from the jump for his young followers, only people complaining is the Nike fanatics and trend followers. People will buy them to play in and it's not all about fashion and popularity to real athletes. But people aren't willing to stray from nike and all of this hype here for UA, guaranteed they sell significantly less amounts of his shoes than nike. im sure finding a sz 8 wont be a issue for youNeed to get a pair of GGs before aftermarket goes up
This.Even if he's signed to UA I don't see the shoes being any more popular then they are now, they're not set to retro any time soon so why go into a frenzy whether he leaves or not. Only people trying to benefit from his departure would start spreading word to make hype, people need to relax and not feed into it.
