Official Jordan 1.5

@n0n0 no yea man these are a flop, they colorway is dope but I wish they just made them a Aj1 and not a 1.5 because these things were huge they look like boots[emoji]128554[/emoji]

All these people complaining about these. Yet every euro and USA website sold out instantly. I think they are a great release and it's great to see JB release Og colour ways from the archive

***** I thought you was dead but anyways welcome back! The tensai likes history and is wise to JB's marketing skills.

My pair came in, too. Pretty happy with them, will post pics later. I sized down a little and the look in person is good, in my opinion. Making the laces more loose also helped, I don't know why there are so much pics of em factory laced.

My only concern is the tongue. The peach yellow color is definitely easy to see, especially because the tongue is very long...

Any chance you could take a closer shot of the painted tongue? Trying to get a better sense of how the paint looks layered on like that. How many coats did u end up using?

And it looks really good, by the way! Great job!
Here's some closer pics. It is obvious it is painted when you look at it up close, but from far away, it just looks like a really white tongue. I ended up putting about 5 coats because one of my tongues started looking more yellow than the other so I got OCD and just made them both really white. The coats were thin though and they should drip when you brush them on, otherwise it will be too thick. If I were to do it again, I would be more careful with matching both tongues and probably use 1-2 less coats. You can use as little as you want if you want some yellow in it still.

Fit wise, they fit normal. Tongues are stiffer on the outside and feel more "plastic" but they don't look bad in my opinion. From birds eye view or on foot, I can't tell it's painted. Kept the back mesh of my tongues unpainted and yellow so I don't feel any of the hardness. I would imagine that the only side effect would be that the tongue creases more because of the paint, but I'm mainly concerned about the top of the tongue since that shows the most. This was my first paint job so could've been cleaner in some areas, but it pretty much takes no skill. Just start with a very thin layer of paint and you can stop at anytime.
