If Jamie and Cersei had tried, could they have survived? When we saw it, it looked like a complete collapse. Tyrion gets there and moves 4 bricks to see them both? They couldn't find a sturdy stone arch to stand under?
Whatever. Feel like all the blatant gaps in logic have me nitpicking now.

I was under the assumption that Cersei and the Shotcaller were under a mountain of rubble.
Didn't think one little layer of bricks would have killed them off.
They made it seems like that whole thing came crumbling down like a controlled demolition. Then we see them and it looks like the crew meticulously placed one layer of bricks on top of them
Reminded me of Karate Kid II when Sato had a wooden beam laying across him gently
