So none of you would play the game as Ned did? I know his exact moves wouldn't be made knowing the outcome of the actions taken. But would you completely give up being honorable for power?

I'm not sure what I would have done but hell no I would not have done what Ned did.

Specifically, I would not have told to the queen that I know all her dirty secrets and then tell her how I intend to execute all my plans to remove her from the throne and then walk away not expecting her to do something about it. Ned was showcasing some Bond villain levels of dumbass with that move right there.

Ned didn't play any game. He just lived his life.

It was pretty much said by multiple people that Ned could of taken the throne if he wanted after the rebellion, but he didn't want power. Ned didn't have to give up being honorable, he just should of not other trying to be so merciful to everyone.

He tried to play the game when he attempted to put Stannis on the throne....and he failed miserably :lol

True, I wouldn't have done what he did either, but I see where he was coming from. Telling Robert the truth instead of telling Cersei to bounce ASAP=guaranteeing that innocent children and Joffrey are put to death. I mean in that type of world you have to put your and your family's survival over doing the right thing, and Ned did the exact opposite. That type of threat works with normal people, not with people with people with that much $ and power behind them

He's a doofus. If he accepted Renley's help when he offered it, he'd still be alive and back in Winterfell clapping Caitlyn's cheeks under some fur blankets.

IMO, Ned telling Cersei what he knew was not a mistake. His mistake was not telling Robert when he had the chance. When they were all in the room at Roberts deathbed, he should've put her on blast right then. You could see she was afraid Ned was going to tell when Robert asked everyone to leave, except Ned. Robert probably would've had Cersei and her entire family killed.

Both of them were his mistakes, done either of them differently and Cersei would of never had a chance to preempt him. And then of course trusting Littlefinger as his ally in executing his plan just sealed his faith.

Hell no. He figured out what happened to Jon Arryn, received warning after warning from Varys and Littlerfinger, and still made the same dumb mistakes. You WIN or you DIE. Although this makes me think of a quote from the Wire, by Cedric Daniels wife Marla that was running for city council: "You can not lose if you do not play."

Littlefinger will end up ruling the west and east
Not a chance in Hell.
thats my bold prediction

dude will weasel his way into world domination.

I was not expecting the white walker to have such a nice fit :lol dude was dressed like a lannister. Them baby's born in the north must be strong, surviving in the land of always winter with no damn clothes on :x

Anyone else think it was kinda weird that the blood graffiti was written in English? :lol

I was thinking the same damn thing.....Them babies never freeze

Hope my dude Snow ends up King some how.

My boy Ned :{ , but he was the main character :(

He didn't give up power to be honorable. He didn't even want the throne. He wanted everyone to know stannis was the true heir, joffrey was a product of incest, and to go back to winterfell
