Makes me wonder if Littlefinger will use his spies and resources against the Lannisters and Freys after he finds out Cat got murked. People kinda forgot about him after he got shipped off...

Im sure it has to do with the dominant/recessive gene.

I hated it in biology and I still do now.
Don't eem care.

Hated it too that's why I asked :lol
Yeah, that's why I don't agree that Ned or Arryn were on their Sherlock. Could just be possible that Lannister's genes are more dominant than a Baratheon but hey I don't even remember taking biology.

Cuz talk like that reminds me of the Maury show. "That kid can't be mine! All my children got wavy hair Maury!" or "All I have are sons!" or "All my kids never cry Maury!"

Dude is always scheming. Never underestimate Littlefinger

Asha Greyjoy got me hyped in the finale. "He's my brother." 50 best killers on the Iron Islands.

Interesting similarity between Tywin and Balon Greyjoy. Heartless. Family name first. Willing to sacrifice or discard their sons, Tyrion and Theon.

QFT. i haven't been that hyped since last season when Tyrion got the soldiers hyped and said " Those are brave men knocking at our door... Let's go kill them!" :smokin BAWSE

That's true but as he went through the 300 year history of House Baratheon, they were never not the dominant gene. Every time a Baratheon man married into another house, all of their children had black hair. To the two of them, that wasn't just a coincedence.

I think it was more his face and that Ned would have known Robert when he was Gendry's age and they would have looked very similar. Plus Jon Arryn's last words were "The seed is strong", so that was even a bigger clue that the Baratheon genes were so strong they were always dominant.

aepps: The Theon Greyjoy speech from S2 is up there for me also.

Son was on his Gladiator.

Does this apply only to the Baratheon men? Stannis' daughter has red hair.

I don't think it's technically red, just a brown and the way the light hits it it might look redder.

Although maybe it means she might not be Stannis' real daughter, I haven't read that far in the books so I'm not sure.

They make her seem more like Stannis in the books and in the AWOIAF description.

Shireen is regarded as a sweet child. She is not very pretty; she has blue eyes but inherited both her father's square, jutting jaw and her mother's large ears.[1] The greyscale caused half of her left cheek and most of her neck to be covered in gray and black dead skin. She is nine years old.[2]

I think the show just made a mistake in not making her hair darker.

I'm rewatching season 1 now. I always blamed Kat for what happened to the Starks family. I felt she jumped the gun and didn't plan properly. After rewatching the ep where she kidnaps Tyrion, my feelings haven't changed.

I'm still unclear on why she was at the inn, and I don't know what her plan was. Can I get some clarity on this.

She was at the inn because she was on the way back to Winterfell after meeting Ned in KL. Her plan was to hold Tyrion at the Vale and make him pay for his crimes.

You also have to consider she probably thought that was her only chance. Surrounded by her father's bannerman, the man she thought was responsible for the attempt on her son was there with only a few guards... no better time to arrest him.
