Classic example of why money shouldn't be your #1 priority when you're trying to further your career at a young age and potentially more money down the line.

Arsenal would've been the perfect fit and having another Ukrainian in zinchenko would've made him feel right at home.

Dudes don't think about the intangibles :smh:
He didn't make the choice. His choice was clear as day Arsenal, but Chelsea offered the most cash. He could have chosen to stay to wait until the summer, but then you don't know what the future holds. He could have picked up a career altering injury and then people would show up and say he should have left when he got his first chance of leaving.

Seeing how the Qatari's didn't bat an eyelid at spending like water for the World Cup to make them look good.

If the deal for United goes through the amount they would spend should be insane for the goal to have United be a winning team for them to flex on being owners of United.

Add to that what’d be a Manchester rivalry with the UAE

Ray does the most. Ish sounds forced and corny at times.

Ray that dude. For whatever reason English-speaking commentators are so dry. Maybe at times does too much but at least he captures and appreciates the beauty and poetry of the game.

The Enzo move was another like this.

I didn't get the rush to leave a title winning team in Benfica midseason to join that mess at Chelsea when he'd have still had his pick of top clubs (Real, Liverpool, City, PSG etc) queueing up for him in just 4 months during the summer.

Now he's there on an 8 and half year deal and likely might not even be playing CL football next season.

Coulda picked up a career-derailing injury. Also good to be wanted instead of the consolation of the Bellingham sweepstakes.

Realistically, who in his position is gonna turn down a 120m deal? At some point the sheer amount of moneys starts to outweigh those considerations.
Like others said, for all he knows he could've gotten a career ending injury the next few months.

Wait just woke up. Looks like a good match is on

Why is Bailey on the bench?

Only outlet they have is Watkins rn so Arsenal can push up without much fear
