Tapping up doesn't really exist in modern football :lol:.

Clubs are in constant contact with players under contract elsewhere and their reps long before they ever put official bids in. The bids are the last part of the process.

The few Prems rules on the matter also don't apply to international clubs/transfers, just domestically.
