Could this end up becoming a straight swap?

Leão really about to go to City bro?

that was my thought as soon as I saw it, but it could also just be them preparing to spend the leao sale money to replace him. it wouldn't be a straight swap if it happened though. the prices of both are not even close imo

Yea exactly. Not like a direct swap.

If Leão goes to City it’s over man.

It’s done. Just give City the trophies.

It’s honestly been my nightmare since they got Haaland. That they’ll pair Leao with him. I’ve had a hunch this is how the stars will align. Need Man U or someone to stop this

If Simeone didn't play Haram football, I would approach Atletico with the deal for Felix, Mendes has a lot of pull there.

I mean RM and Atleti have done transfers before. Why not?

Atleti is going crazy with the asking price tho.

Two giants just overpowering everyone. One with brute speed the other with brute force.

It would terrify Defenses.

Like how could any defense match up?

It would look like Football (NFL).

Throw Simeone out of the equation for a second.

I’d rather play at AC Milan than Atleti any day.

Not even close.

No question. Atletico is a small club that came up on some money as a result of recent success. Milan is a giant that is finally coming back to former glory. Not to mention that Serie A > la Liga

Which is a reason why I’d like to see Milan pay him. I wouldn’t mind him staying and being the King of Italy for the next how many years.

But Milan just won’t pay him. They won’t pay anyone. It’s nuts.

They should've put that effort last summer after that breakout season :lol

Sounds like they were slacking even though they've had a rich history with the best Brazilian players over different generations.

yankeesking92 yankeesking92 I thought ManU was doing so much better without Ronaldo though? How could this be??
We really talking about friendlies during a WC break now??

Around half the starters are still at the WC right now and the rest of the others who went are currently on break

Only academy kids and those who didn't go to Qatar are playing these friendlies to stay match fit.

Nothing more nothing less.

Won't be any competitive club action until after the final

Back to Felix for min because I posted a tweet about Arsenal being interested yesterday.

Arsenal really makes sense for João.

Gabby just went down. Felix can play the CF (his best position IMO) while still drifting wide and creating chaos.

He’d love the way Arteta plays.

Arsenal want to go all out to win the league? Go for it. Maybe Atleti will settle for €80 million?

Speaking of friendlies during the World Cup.

EWWWWWWW!!!!!

Our National Team is going to be a problem for years man. I never thought this could happen!!! 😭

At some point they need to become more vertical and results driven
Yea it's like they've forgotten just how key the likes of Villa and Torres were to those squads dominating. It wasn't only all their all-world midfields doing.

They still had some world class finishers capable of punishing teams for mistakes and rewarding all the hard work done by the midfield.

They've got pass masters galore once again now but zero potent finishers.

The tiki taka obsession is probably part of the reason why they don't produce top strikers anymore. All the best talent goes towards the midfield

Just came back from Qatar. Saw 8 games in 5 days, 5 of those being the round of 16 games. What a great experience. The stadiums were beautiful, though some of the interior was just super basic and the stadium food was not good.

But, overall, thought Qatar did a great job. The atmosphere was great, the games good and the people were electric.

The ability to see multiple games in a day is what made me want to go. Can't wait for it to be in the US in 2026
