if i were you, i'd get the audioque 1200d

it'll give the sub 870@ 2 ohm which is pretty good..
also allows u keep the amp whenever u upgrade subs since it'll do 1200@1 ohm

Two 12W3's w/sealed enclosure. That was my set up in highschool (10 years ago). Was being pushed by a pheonix gold amp tho, I don'tremember what model now.
My little sister ended up totalling that car. I never had the enclosure strapped down, so when she wrecked the box went flying out the back window.

- Audioque 1200D amp or Sundown 1500D.
and a 4-channel amp for front speakers.
My homie has a '06 Sentra with 1-15" Fi BTL [Fully Loaded] on a Sundown 1500D, soon to be Sundown 2000D.
He's converted me to Fi.

I have a 96 civic coupe and i need some slap. Right now i got a 400w amp i think. and need some subwoofers. I'm not really sure what I need do i need a boxif i only get 1 subwoofer? etc. help me out please.

Depends on the sub...
A 15" type r will take 1200 daily with no sweat and it's rated @ 750. a 13w7 can't handle 1200 watts daily and it's rated @ 1000.
400 watts isn't alot. what amp is it? how much you're willing to spend?

32 is kinda low for type r's. i'd tune around 34-36. you gotta remember those are spl subs.
