It is out today has anyone seen it..The preview looks amazing..but looks like one of those movies where all the good parts were shown in the trailer.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

the movie takes soooooo long to reach the climax and when it does it lasts 5 minutes max. If you've seen the trailer, you basically have seen the movie.Crappy/ pathetic ending.

only plus is the tobey macguire is good at acting psycho

57% on Rotten Tomatoes seems disappointing for a movie like this. I did love the trailer though.

I'll choose Up in the Air instead

Saw it yesterday. Thought it was alright. Tobey does go off the deep end and plays a pretty convincing psycho.

definately catch it on dvd, not a movie to watch on the big screen, like jaysnyallday said it takes way too long to reach the climax, which is when tobey blowsup, although its one of the best acting scenes ive seen in a while, its not enough to salvage the movie, dont get me wrong the movie still a pretty good drama, very real....just drags specially in a movie theather, at home it might be a different experience. I gotta say though, Tobey was on his A-game, that scenewhere he blew up, i was like holy %!*+ this dude is gonna kill them all and himself.

great movie...I highly recommend seeing it. Great performances all around but Tobey Maguire and Bailee Madison steal the show.

I just saw it (bootleg...sue me) and I honestly enjoyed it. Sure, the climax was very brief (and basically in the trailer) but what leads up to it I thoughtwas very thought out.

Spoiler [+]
The ending though, when Sam says he killed Joe, I thought was not necessary, but then the quote to end the movie tied it all together.

Also, when Sam surrendered to the cops, as he was getting cuffed, he said "I'm drowning". I immediately thought of the scene where Tommy said how Sam saved him in the lake when they were younger." That was

way to end the arresting scene.

Ending Spoiler:

Spoiler [+]
At Maggie's birthday party, a resentful and jealous Isabelle claims that Sam's paranoid assumptions are true: that Tommy and Grace have repeatedly slept together. That night, Sam snaps, destroying the newly remodeled kitchen and pulling a gun on Tommy. The police arrive, and after a frantic confrontation in which Sam nearly commits suicide, Sam surrenders.
He is admitted to a mental hospital. During a visit from Grace, he finally admits to killing Joe, and they embrace. A letter between husband and wife is read in voice over, with Sam wondering if he will be able to continue living a normal life

Just saw the movie. Movie was pretty good. Acting was on POINT.
Wasn't expecting too much action or anything so i enjoyed it.

Acting was great I just expected a lot more to happen...it was worth the watch but im not gonna buy it

Yeah I agree. (scooped up a free bootleg

) It definitely drags and takes too long to get started. The section where Toby snaps is the best scene but is tooshort and the movie just ends abruptly.
One good thing is the girl that plays the oldest daughter was really impressive to me. I was more

@ the scene where she screams on him at dinner thananything else.

The couple comments of Tobey putting on a show as a psycho entices me to see it. I might have to pull off a triple showing or something to see this, Avatar andUp in the Air.
