Ill make this post now cause i gotta be at the track at 5am to set all kinds of +$@$ up and get ready for the day... anyways, this is gonna be a big day inhorse racing... word in the paddock is that Casino Drive has an injury to his foot that is causing more concern than Big Browns crack on his hoof.

There should be some big names attending the race, people like Shaq and MJ... probably a few others that were at the Kentucky Derby like maybe D Wade, MichaelStrahan, Irvin, and a few others. Ill be sure to take a ton of pictures and post them on here if i get some good ones...

yea i was watching some of the races from Churchill too... didnt bet on any, ive bet 6 times this week and ive only won 1 time cause i bet a 5-1 shot to show

so do i...i'm getting better though, getting more familiar with trainers, breeders, and whatnot. one of my old man's buddies is always there and itry to get some tips from him...he breeds and knows his !#%*.

i'm not big into horse racing at all...i just go to the track for a good time. beer/food/entertainment/money....makes a good date.

i'll be on the links tomorrow, so i won't be watching the race. i'm sure BB will do work.

According to tvguide.com, the race is at 5:30 EST on ABC, with coverage beginning at 5.

I'm with Scot Van Pelt. Last night, him and Neil Everett (sp?) did SportsCenter. He asked Neil 'So is he going to do do it?', and Neil said that hethought Big Brown would win. Then Neil asked Van Pelt right back. Scot's reply? 'I'm just saying, every time we think something isabsolutely going to happen in sports... it doesn't. It just never does. That's all I'm saying.'

I have to agree with him.

And I think his jockey has jinxed him right out of winning it. He's been talking for weeks about how their victory is assured, no horse will come close,it's as good as over... blah, blah, blah. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Does the race start at 4 or 5 EST? I read somewhere that it started at 3 (Central time, which is my area), but Ska just said that it says 530 (which would be430 my time) on tvguide.com...anyone know?

TV coverage starts at 5 EST, 4 Central. I think post time is around 5:30ish EST/4:30ish Central.

They were just walking with his owner (I think that was his owner; I know some of you others were watching, too), and the final question was 'So can youguarantee a victory?', and he did not even HESITATE in responding 'Absolutely. I sure can.'
