Idk I love my masterbuiltLooking to purchase an electric smoker within the next month or so, any reason why a masterbuilt smoker would be a poor choice?
When I bought I lived in an apartment initially but I got it for convenience of maintaining temp more than anythingIs there a reason you went with an electric vs charcoal/briquette smoker? Live in an apartment?
Personally i never had any thoughts of an electric smoker, except when i was living in an apt with a no gas/charcoal policy. Isnt it basically just an oven?
if youre out of that apt now man you have to get a real smoker. Pick up the medium smokey mountain for 300. With some minor mods you can make that thing bullet proof. You wont regret it, will be a little more work though. When I bought I lived in an apartment initially but I got it for convenience of maintaining temp more than anything
an outside oven with a woodchip compartment I guess is a good description
yeah I get the taste wont be the same because the lack of charcoal but the difference in taste isnt too drastic to me in comparison, still plenty of smoke flavor

Yeah, that's it - Oklahoma Joe Highland. Not sure how thick the steel is buti it's really solid - about 200lbs. I'll measure it later.
It was reduced to $120 which seemed worth it.
Ohhhh **** that's dope homieCooked some thighs on the grill. Threw some hickory chunks in there.
Of course, had to finish on the direct heat side to get some more color
