Official B l u - r a y thread - Confirmed: Lucasfilm preparing Star Wars box

Magnavox has one for 79, they sell it at Wal Mart. It's this one, don't know why it's showing 98 online http://www.walmart.com/ca...t.do?product_id=11319406 I'd pay 99$ for the Best Buy storebrand though and still get Netflix and BD Live. I think it's worth the extra for the few online contents like I've been cleaning up all day and hadSlacker radio on an r'n'b channel. You can even skip songs you don't like

I'm sure the off brands (ie:Magnavox, Insignia) are probably fine, but I just cannot for the life of me buy any of those. I have a launch 20gig PS3 in thebedroom and an 80gig in the living room with no problems so far on either unit. *crosses fingers* I'm happy with their performance for the money. I havebeen into home theatre for about 12 years, but until 4k resolution comes knocking I will be very happy with my 42" Panny plasma and 32" LCD and mytep PS3s.

Really?...i didnt like it as much on blu-ray...i like the gritty-ness and the tone of the dvd...even though it gets upscaled it still kept that filter typelook...i dont know how to explain it, but some movies dont need to be updated to blu-ray PQ quality to be enjoyed.

It's this model, I heard it was 99$ in store though and this is the one with Wifi. http://www.bestbuy.com/si...player&cp=4&lp=3 <-149$ online tho. Give me a second, there's an even better deal I got in my email recentlyfor a Samsung with Youtube, Netflix, Pandora, and BD Live for 100$ but I get so many emails I don't remember what site it was from.

http://www.tigerdirect.co...c_o=VRqCjC7BBTkwCjCECjCESamsung w/ Netflix, Pandora and BD Live (don't all the network ones automatically have BD Live?) for 109$

The Samsung BD P3600 is the one with youtube, pandora, and Netflix and WIFI. I can't find it for 100$ (it was most likely a refurb), cheapest I'mseeing is 170.

But Netflix isn't that expensive of a feature, they're putting it on them almost by default now. I'd recommend at least getting one with Youtube aswell (you get full Youtube, not just the ones chosen to be made available) and some streaming radio service.

The LG Bd370 is the one I was originally going to get, youtube, netflix, netcast, and cinemanow for 145$ on Amazon, cheaper on ebay or if you get a refurb.

If you have trouble with running cables, I'll also link you to the wireless bridge/powerline networking adapters I use on the one I set up at myparent's house living room

But other than that, FOX isn't saying anything about it, but I'm surethey'll finally release it around the time the next Alien flick comes out next year or something

Picked up Hurt Locker last week and the Bourne Trilogy today..... hope they were a good purchase

jrp44 - How did you Man on Fire for that price? It shows up as $19.86 for me online.

This Hurt Locker movie sounds interesting - is it worth buying?

At my Walmart they had a big cardboard display with a bunch of $12 Blu-Rays. MOF was on of them, they also had a few others. But the real gold was getting theDie Hard collection on DVD at $4 a movie.
