I got it off eBay for 195. He had several in each size and I couldn't pass. I had no idea it had the mesh numbers until it came in so that was definitely an added bonus.

I'll start with few examples but just to get confirmation from you.Just want to be sure about these.
This is obviously white tag from 97-98, right?
This is 00-02 Dri-FIT, right? "Authentics" across logoman.
This should be 02-04 Dri-FIT? "Authentics" written vertically.
Could you just clear up what do you mean by "Nike-FIT 98-99"? It would be great if you could upload one pic.
Also, which of these styles was used in 99-00 season? Was it still the mesh? There's a "gap" in that year in this what you wrote.

they did release a small number of authentics at the game. because i remember seeing a few Roses and a Kobe for sale the week after on ebay. plus since neither wear a large.

My guess, as well as many others is May 7th. That's the anniversary of his game winning shot. To my knowledge
there has been no set date or price as of now.

My mistake on the terminilogy, I knew neither of them wore that size but I thought the term still applied.... edited. Any idea what those were going for when you saw them? I have never seen any so I figured they were pretty rare.

i think both sold at BIN $275. but this was right after the game pretty much.
a lot of blanks on ebay so with all these blanks they could have actually done a wider release of the authentic

True indeed. The quality is not the best on the asg jersey. The 89 asg Barkley was more accurate. M&N is similar to the Jordan Brand. The quality has gotten worse over the years.

I don't know what they were thinking releasing the teal one and not the home and burgundy versions. they probably would have moved them a lot quicker than the teal one - terrible choice...
