Been on a little bit of a 97 kick the last week or so. These are some of my favorites ever.

The best part of these too is they have a much softer midsole than the standard version. It’s the only pair I have that is like this. They are noticeably more comfortable than the standard 97.
Most of my 97s are pretty old and when I did try one for size, these newer 97s have a smaller toe box area and I had to go up to a 10 from a 9.5...that was probably why I didn't buy it but yeah, having a softer midsole is preferred these days. I guess that's why I'm a huge fan of re-released TL 2.5s lol.

Nike gotta do better on the 97’s. Joints been feeling like utmost bricks, arguably the most uncomfortable Air Max on the market.

Easy fix, and they've done it a few times...phylon midsole. Same with the 98, I have the Olivia Kim pair and they have a lightweight phylon midsole and it's fantastic

Or just softer polyurethane.
A little birdy told me the 97 could see some "improvements" for the 30th anniversary next year...

I find my 2022 Silver Bullets to be comfortable. They are on the firmer side, but I don't mind it at all. Kind of enjoy the slight firmness.

thats never gonna happen, you can forget about that, they changed the mould for this sneaker a few years ago so that they will looking less bulky and cheaper to produce, and nike also never release retro sneakers with OG specs and meassurements, its either the watered down retro or nothing for you, if you want OG spec i advise you to track down a OG AM97 and sole swap them
