Official Air Jordan 13 Retro Thread

Discussing the KicksCrew sale with my mother and seeing if she wanted something led to her falling in love with the GG Love and Respect. She said she'd never pay those heavy Jordan prices, but they finally got her. The Chinese exclusivity drew her in; too.

I'd been looking at the men's version, but I felt I bought enough this month. I saw DS Dan's review about the leather quality and decided what the hell; one more before the KC sale is done.

Yeah don’t pay $122
It was like around $102 couple of days ago when they had the oneness30 up
Just wait it out
It will hit around $100 or below shipped
It’s just a matter of time
Cool bro you still dominate discount battles

If $102 don’t sell, well perhaps $90 will sell.

Olive is a nice colorway, full suede is good. Dark colorway could be rain sneakers. Not beaters, walk carefully and clean after wearing in rain!

I have the 04s and 17s and think they are pretty close colorwise.

I think so as well, but I took a couple pics to show what I meant with the 04 being more vibrant. I originally thought they were almost identical.

Left shoe is the 04, right shoe is the 17 on the two photos above. You can tell in the first side by side that they are close, but still not as equally bright. The bottom photo was taken with lots of sunlight which really shows the difference. I think that’s where I have really noticed the difference in color brightness is when wearing them or having them out on sunny days.

I keep on hearing the older the sneaker is, especially in DS form, classic colorway, the better the value is.

Like 1/2 year ago somebody found his deceased uncles 198x Air Jordan 1 triple white, looking DS, would fetch some serious money

Or those 1985 Chicago 1s used, cracked rubber, cracked paint, fetch $4000

So in 2034, your 2004 retro pair will be valueable.

2034?

I’ve worn an 11.5 in 13s for over a decade now. Bought the white and red last year in a 12 and they were too big but it was the last pair.

These black and olives are an 11.5 but killing my pinky, feel like a 10.5. Luckily I can go swap for a 12 easily but still. I’m tired of this with Nike and Jordan.

It’s with every brand. I started buying 1 size across the board, no matter the brand or shoe because it’s impossible to figure out nowadays. Some fit slightly too snug, but better than risking loose and feeling that deep crease when walking lol. There’s no consistency in sizing anymore
