You really did prove my point, acting like some kind of an elitist.
You proved my point, half of the people on here don't know how to read (literally) and just reply to something with a generic reply.

LMAO.. I'm sorry but if I was high up in Nike or JB...I wouldn't be here..& if I was I would probably be holding some Yeezys or better yet some Shoes that aren't released yet.lolOf course Nike and the companies who buy the product know how many they have, however, you have no idea.
I love how you come with a guess that 400,000 or so more pairs were made of Bred's than Concord's, that's where I knew you were full of either cocaine or ****.
So apparently to you, they made half of a million Space Jam's, then made half a million Cool Grey's....then decided to only make 300,000 Concord's, but made more than DOUBLE Bred's?
Where is your credibility?
I find it hard to believe a guy with a pic of him holding a pair of Penny II's in his avatar staring in the mirror knows exactly what's going on with production numbers, but apparently you are very high up in Nike to know these production numbers.
I am so glad we have you here for information.
Quick question man, should we expect 1.3 million pairs of whatever XI drops this season?

@ how I proved your point.
Why does it matter what shoes someone has in an avatar? If he had a pair of Eminem II's or even a pair of Q54 V's you would then believe him? It makes absolutely no sense and it seems to me you are a bit too judge mental and too conceited to actually realize how stupid you are.
Do yourself and everyone else here a favor.
Take a few seconds to take your head out of your *** and think before posting. Also try to stop acting like you are the ******g **** and you know everything.
He can't help it Anderson. Is in his DNA. He always has to get the last word, it's jadaretro. 4 things in life are certain:
1) death
2) taxes
3) jada copping on employee discount and telling everyone about it
4) jada is never wrong.
I have heard its cancelled orders or returned pairs.saw one pair of BREDs back on footlocker a few days ago. only size 10. was too late of course....
does anybody know why footlocker does this? is it a return that they just put back up on their site?
Some people other than myself actually work for JB, Nike, manufactures, or warehouses and they have this info... They do keep track of production numbers, that's how they make money...

I feel like Hypebeastism occurs in cycles. 2000-2005, was when he first retro'd the 11's, those were huge. He did a few big releases when he also retro'd the 13's (notably the Breds, Flints, and Altitudes) and there was a HUGE market for that. The pinnacle (and impending downfall) release of that period was the Grape V's in 2005(6?) and the DMP's. Then it felt like Jordan's went away for a while (to the Hypebeasts at least) That crowd also loved the Dunk SB's if I can remember correctly. 2006-2008 was kind of a slow period. I was able to do pickups on morning of in-store or online for Mars IV's, Cardinal VII's, Military Blue IV's, a few packs Old Love/New Love CDP's blah blah list goes on and on. I phased out a little bit but Griffey Max 1's dragged me right back into the game.2011.
I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is. You have to be there right when it drops or you won't have a chance at em at all.saw one pair of BREDs back on footlocker a few days ago. only size 10. was too late of course....

My sentiments exactly'You're an *** but this made me LOL
@@@@@@@@@@ The Dark Knight (Batman) references..............I feel like Hypebeastism occurs in cycles. 2000-2005, was when he first retro'd the 11's, those were huge. I'm not thick in the shoe game, I'm a moderate collector who buys what he likes. I don't know much nor do I have great sources of info for upcoming releases or anything like that. What I DO know is today is a completely different day and age for shoes/the sneaker game. The utilization of social media completely blows my mind on how to create buzz for new releases. The way Nike/Jordan is strategically marketing around social media to (re)create another frenzy for his/their shoes (especially to kids who have never even seen him play before) is utterly genius.
Lol I'm sure none of you wanted to read all that.
Bottom line is if "Rise of the Hypebeasts" occured in 2011
"Hypebeast Begins" started way back in 2000 when the first Jordan retro XI's came out.
Back in those days there were 4-5 Retro releases a YEAR.
Nowadays it's 4-5 Retro releases a QUARTER. And that's only Jordan Brand, I won't even scratch the surface of Nike Retro releases.
Michael Jordan is a rich man.
Phil Knight is even richer.
Go America.

OK, well if you must know I started my journey out with a PhD in Accounting from Rutgers Business School in Newark, NJ.. After graduating in 2005, I was brought on as an intern to do "accounting" the actual name of the position is called a Digital Marketing Operations for a company called Nike, Inc.. (some people as yourself may know it as Nike...) While working there in the Nike Headquarters, I was able to rub shoulders with many people including some of the big wigs you speak of, including people from JB... I was there for a little under 5 years, before I used my knowledge and experience to gain access to my current position which is to watch over "accounting" the assets of the largest medical equipment provider in the united states, a company called Apria Healthcare, even though I have much love for kicks, and didn't want to leave Nike, I had a child back home and the health care company which also had headquarters in my home city, gave me an offer I couldn't turn down.... Now during my time at Nike, Inc, I was able to meet and still to this day talk, vacation with, and discuss Kicks, numbers, and other info you wouldn't even be able to comprehend with these people... On top of that I also have a first cousin that also has been working for JB in the design area for more than 5 years... So, no i don't have any clue what I am talking about.... I just pulled these numbers out of my ***...Of course Nike and the companies who buy the product know how many they have, however, you have no idea.
