Oh crap. Do you have the L&F? I find 1s to generally fit a bit roomy in the toe box and generally a bit clunky so was fearful of a clown shoe feeling. That said, half size up in usually less than a quarter inch longer so I probably would have been fine.

I hate having to think about sizing. For multiple decades it was TTS in EVERY Jordan I've ever purchased without question. Only recently started playing around with half size up since the WC3s fit a bit big and I really liked that fit.

That was the risk of ordering from Oneness as they don't accept returns.

lets just put it this way, the og lows recently i wear a size 11 TTS - the slight extra room allows for thicker socks and insole swaps of my choosing. the Highs i stop taking chances and go half size up because my feet swells after wearing it for a few hours. To me, its necessary.

Zoom Air series. Not sure when they released, but definitely not OGs or retros. It's the Jordan 1 model with added Zoom cushioning for better comfort.

I actually have the Hare pair. It's the only colorway from this series I ever wanted.

It is kinda wild that Nike made a technically improved AJ1 then just killed them basically on arrival with the colorways. That model actually could've been something.

I still want the Brut SB inspired pair.

Yeah both the Zooms and Zoom CMFTs (both 1.0 and 2.0s) had great cushioning and tooling, I just wish they didn’t use the stupid “Zoom Air” tags and small design changes (larger tongues, etc.).

Honestly, a superior retro of the OG Highs and 85s would be the classic OG AJ 1 design with the Zoom tooling used but Nike/JB show 0 interest in making massive comfort improvements like this while retaining the “true to OG” design specs/language.

They tried all of this back in 2010 with the Zoom 1 Alpha. Some OG colors, but the trade off was they were mids, the uppers were disgusting even for is its time, but they had full length zoom. However, they were actually meant for you to play in.

Yeah I remember the Zoom 1 alpha. Specifically the Chicago pair but like you said they were mids so that was another DOA situation.

Even back in 2010 the demand for the highs was palpable and we had finally gotten a proper high with CDP/ red premiers/ and black premiers. People weren't rushing back to a mid.

Zooms (the short lived non-CMFT line) were the closest we’ve come but for some reason they still added that “Zoom Air” nonsense.
