Idk y'all. Am I the only one feeling the original Court purple's more than these new ones? Might just be a personal tastes but I prefer the color blocking on the original. The purple on the toe box looks much better than the white imo. Gottas see some more on feet pics.

I’m sure you’re not. Especially with those being the “original” Court Purples. I’m actually the complete opposite of this thinking. I like the original Court Purples (I really love the Pine Greens, but I love green), but the Chicago color blocking on the upcoming pair is way better IMO than the colored toe blocking. The tongue tag being leather or not, or black with purple NA as opposed to white with purple NA, makes no difference to me in the case of this shoe (though the usual nylon would always be preferred).

I just had an epiphany. With JB appearing to be having another type of Jordan 1 High in the form of these upcoming ‘85 or New Beginnings pairs, giving us three tiers of 1 Highs as 0takusamsay pointed out, I wonder if our “traditional” OG Retro Highs will all start having leather tongue tags. It’d be another annoying differentiating feature that JB would use to bait us into these new ‘85s being that much more special and closer to the “OGs.” They’ve slowly been introducing the tags, and there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which pairs have it. I hope I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

May sound funny but the lace job and the shape of the shoes are off. If you look at the back of the shoes they should have a “hourglass” like shape. But ya those are pretty blatant

Ewww. I purposefully forgot about that detail. I REALLY hope that is a one time thing type of detail. The leather tongue tag, though I prefer the traditional nylon version, doesn’t bother me. That Wings patch though is just gross IMO. But yeah, I just wouldn’t be surprised if JB makes all High Retro 1s that AREN’T the “‘85/New Beginnings” pairs, with leather tongue tags. I hope I’m wrong though.

DONT TRUST STOCKX!!!!!!! You’re gambling on getting a used or fake pair, so NOOOOOO-I wouldn’t trust a bunch of BSers. There are lot of stockx sellers on here so they’re gonna come to their defense;happens every time. Stick with GOAT. Or go ahead and take that gamble on CrookX.

I have only made two purchases on Stockx (one in December 2016 and one in May last year) but when did they fall of reputation wise as it relates to their quality control? Most of the comments I've read about them this year seem to be to avoid them as some have purchased fakes or non DS kicks being passed off as DS? I've only used GOAT once (last month got a pair of Air Max 90 Camowabb) but it sounds like using GOAT over Stockx is the move.

I’ve had better experiences with them than goat honestly. I think a lot of the gripes expressed by ppl is mostly piggybacking on hearsay fore they didn’t experience these negative situations personally.

Order 3 times with goat no issues.
3rd time I order they saw I was getting a defective pair and told me if I l'll like a discount for it. I declined on the shoes and discount. Shoe was definitely defective.

StockX data breach alone won't put my faith in them. They handled that situation badly, and I'm sure it will happen again.

I personally bought 2 high ticket items on there, but prefer goat for both selling and buying.

I’ve already shown screen shots of my experiences with stockX in this thread. They sent me clearly worn shoes with glitter on them. 2 times they sent me clearly laced up and tried on shoes. Sacai thread has more pics of stockX nightmares. One dude in here just said his buddy sent stockX fakes multiple times that passed.

I could have saved money with stockX on Travis Scott’s, off whites, blue, black Levis, sacais, etc, but went with GOAT for peace of mind-zero regrets. These along with my 15 other purchases over the past couple of years have been remarkable with only 1 complaint that they resolved. StockX is batting 2/5 with THE WORST customer service. Wanna see screenshots????

If yall keep up with other threads, you already know stockX is trash. But whatever u guys-do u and keep drinking that cool-aid.
