With all the trash that released this month and the trash that’s releasing next month JB is saving us money only the normal consumers that just like them because they’re Jordans are buying these whack releases. The color blocking and storytelling sucks mad hard this year. The next worthwhile release is the UNC inspired colorway 1s and that comes out towards the end of August.

That's why I don't get upset. I have enough kicks to last a lifetime already.

Exactly. By this time last year, I had purchased (ballpark spitball estimate here ...) maybe 25 pairs? This year I'm at about six or so?

I was going to make a concerted effort to cut down on the purchases this year anyway, but I didn't think it would be this easy.

i feel ya.
yall saying this aint real or possible?

Maybe he has plugs (store employees). Maybe he pays resell at decent resell prices from people who don't know better or just want a quick flip. Maybe he uses bots. Maybe some of these pairs are his friends pairs. Maybe he buys fakes. Maybe it's a combination of these factors and/or factors I didn't list.

We don't know, and it doesn't really matter. Who cares. Good for him, I guess. I'll just continue to wear and be happy with what I have (team manual, get lucky from time to time, very rarely pay resell). I suggest everyone do the same.

interesting.

im just curious brozay.
figured yall would know.

^ at the end of the day, one person is not getting that many pairs for retail. Dependable and consistent plugs expect a kickback and bots aren't free. The way I see it, if you score yours for retail for personal use - that's all that matters.

I was going to ask if anyone else just memorized their box order. I always put my shoes back in the exact same place and order so I know what pair is where.
Same. Assumed everyone did that?

I don't need a backstory. Just clean colorways.

I heard these are similar to what is releasing for the black/red black Friday release...

My Blue Moons arrived from sx, with no tissue paper and the shoes smelling like it was febrezed, covering up a smell like it had been in a room with heavy cigarette smoke for months.

I'm not really tripping off either but just wondering where the shoes were stored? A casino? Lol

Anyway, just need Track Reds to complete the pack now.
how did they pass the smell test?

People wanting attention. Portraying some false upscale lifestyle. Begging for followers. Flaunting their money for likes. Seeking validation from strangers. Etc, ect. Take your pick.

Yup. There are also collectors who will just buy a pair, post it on IG (get their likes/props), sell it after, then use that money to buy something else and repeat the cycle. :frown:
They will have an IG page of 60 pictures but only actually own 5 shoes.

I thought sneaker IG would have been like old school NT where people would showcase personal pairs & provide backstories etc, but it's honestly just a competition aka public pissing contest IMO. :smh:

anyone have any idea how this is possible.

any. idea.

and when resellers are buying pairs off folks to re flip. how much they actually making.
volume based moves?

one of yall smart guys chime in.
Most likely either buys fakes from those trash ig top sellers passes them off as legit pairs or he at the local mall in the parking lot on his knees playing the managers meat whistles for dibs on pairs. At that rate dude gonna need jaw surgery from all the beef intake

I need a copy of that dang slam magazine so bad man :smh:. Kicking myself for not copping when they were sitting at Barnes & Noble and elsewhere. Anyone know where I can still find a copy?
