I wanted to be in the NBA

Hahaha I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the same thing in elementary school.

:lol @ sheep. Do you hoop with a soccer ball? Nope. Sure you they are the same shape and bounce but it isn't intended for the sport of basketball. Same concept with suits or dressy attire and Jordan/Nike vis–à–vis basketball shoes.

There are some that can pull off non-athletic sneakers with suits (more so with slacks), but that is few and far between.

IMO its time to grow up, Peter Pan! (directed to people who wear Nike/Jordan with suits)

:lol ok

I understand my opinions typically aren't the popular ones. That's fine.
I'm a 30 year old married homeowner. I have a great selection of dress shoes and I wear them as often as I wear sneakers. Sometimes I wear Ones with this suit. I get that you don't like it, that's fine. How about you grow up and let other people have their own opinions?

right. funny because I wear mostly dress shoes too. im ok with boys loving whatever they want from dress shoe to sneaker to chancleta, but whatever box dudes are living in to spout out these dress "rules" like they are wives/girlfriends is funny to me. :lol

i do think sneakers (and certain "dress shoes" for that matter) can look silly with a suit, but the 1s are not a sneaker that fits that description (imo). to each his own, op just needed A/B answered. not C presented. ha

:lol You ask for opinions on a forum and you you'll get a response like mine. If you didn't like my response, don't open yourself up. Welcome to the internet. Don't take it to heart bruh.

I gave him the B but dialogue on the community kept continuing so I voiced my opinion, which I thought was allowed on NT. Just out of curiosity how many people will wear sneakers specially AJ1 with their suit to a job interview? It's not wives/girlfriends but social norms. If anyone wants to be out the box, by all means go ahead, but expect criticism like mine.

Enough of my derailment.

I agree, end of the day it's all just opinions. I think it's unusual and makes you stick out in a negative way but that's just the way I see it, if wearing sneakers with suits makes you happy, wear them. Just don't be too surprised when people find it a little unusual. I'm sure most people here aren't taking it personally, just voicing opinions guys.

ha, not to really spat about it, its definitely not to heart. main point was that he asked for A/B and a C was presented. you can feel free to respond however you want, but that also comes with knowing you open yourself up for a counter. again, no feels over here. im "not sure if srs" about the job interview question
