2013 breds or banneds?

I like the shade of red on the '13s, however there are some pairs of the Banned 1s that have shades of red that differ from other pairs. I've seen Finish Line and FTL pairs that have a brighter red on the '16s than the ones from Nike.com. My Banneds from Nike definitely have a distinctly darker shade than my pair from Shoe Palace.

Quality wise? Never personally held a pair of '13s. Thinking bout grabbing another pair of banneds but at similar prices I might just grab '13s. I do really like the tumbled leather tho

I just sold my lightly worn 13 pair (sz 10.5) for 275 that I bought on release. 13 pair has a red that pops a little more. But 16s have the high remastered cut and softer leather. 13 bred leather was trash. They were not as comfortable as the remastered mold as well.

Quality wise, '16s by far. I had a couple pairs of the '13s but sold one pair in 2014 and sold the other one last year.
The leather quality is better and the higher cut is truer to the OG. But if you can find a VNDS pair of '13s for $250 or less, I'd jump on it just to have both versions. I wouldn't pay more than $300.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If I could find a pair of '13s closer to 3, which is unlikely but possible grab it to have both releases. I just don't want the prices on banneds to skyrocket in the meantime, even tho prices seem to be pretty steady right now

quality wise definately the Banneds. If you are a purist and don´t like the slightly darker red or tumbled leather go for the 13s though, they are not as bad as people make them out to be, A little stiff.

Hype or no hype I like these and am glad I locked a pair down and don't have to deal with nonsense tomorrow. Definitely like the originals better but happy to add these to my collection.
