Angelus has their version of "variety red." Its a lot darker than JB's varsity, almost maroon like. I stripped these and ordered just regular red and am gonna try that

I still prefer the look of the jumpman logo on the tongue instead of the Nike Air tag, but OG is OG. Could do without jumpman on the back too, but for the 2013's being half the price of the 2015's, I might cop a pair anyways.
