I've shipped to Australia, Japan, Canada, and then parts of Europe with no issue.

The process for shipping internationally, at least through USPS, has gotten simpler and simpler lately.

It shouldn't have been that big of a problem albeit expeensive

Just one question...

He paid you via ChasePay not PayPal right? He did not mail a money order from overseas to you correct?

Why not refund him same exact method... ChasePay... shouldn't affect whether your PayPal is negative or not.

I do got to admin dealing with "lost packages" with USPS can take some time. I remember once I shipped to France got "lost" I ended up refunding the full buyer payment ~400 and deal with USPS myself (eventually got shoes back) but went that "extra mile" to provide good business
