There is a huge difference between sharingSo we arent supposed to share what we think is hot or not in the AJ1 thread, just to make sure that theres no hype on RD and we can have our pizza parties?
Hype spreads like wildfire though. I remember when royals released, nobody wanted them. Now include hype and nobody can get any single jordan 1. Hype is the primary force behind a lot of these releases. It ifs not hyped, A LOT of people don't want it.
Maybe "nobody" was too strong. Ok people wanted them. But in comparison to the other releases that day , they weren't on the priority list.Stopped at "nobody wanted royals"
Mom and pops in NYC sold royals one - two weeks before release date if nobody wanted em why did they sell out. They hype wasn't till after the release when people found out they were mostly allocated overseas.
People wanted royals.
Hype for the frags in its thread didnt kill itThere is a huge difference between sharing
Your opinion on how it looks and claiming a Certain release will be just like the frags.
The funny thing is not many people actually said they were trash. Most said they wouldn't pay the asking resell prices even though they liked the shoe, and got called haters as a result of it. LOLHype for the frags in its thread didnt kill itThere is a huge difference between sharing

It was the people going in there and claiming that they're trash AKA Salty peepz that set it off.
What do people expect when they go in a dedicated shoe thread and then bash it.
As for the release type, always helps to be prepared for the worst and not get my hopes.

Ehh I dunno most people were ready for the royals.
People jumped through hoops for them I think you're pretty off base with that one

I messaged a couple sellers on eBay, asking the what's the best they could do, and I received his offer.

Um, ok...You on that 1 hype train bruh
Royals weren't on the priority list for most. This isn't new. This statement is exactly like your "nuetral grey lows dropping in the US" statement in the low thread.
FALSE

People too those dumb Barkley's over the royals..
People thinking that hyping stuff on niketalk is the reason things sold out are crazy. There are literally millions of people that cop Jordans. Niketalk is a very small percentage of that. Pairs gonna move and sellout out instantly regardless.
We all know N/A 1's aren't general release at this point. There are two choices, hit on RD or pay the resell. Simple. All the crying months in advance is comical.
I get it, you can't formulate a proper argument.
