Are the Kobe AF1 Denim still dropping in summer? Haven't heard anything about them since last year when they announced them.

If all other kobe protros looked this with Nike air on back tab. kobe signature on the insole. Sheath on back heel. Still need air on the sole though. That signature drives me nuts. I would have damn near every pair. This is actually a P.E., hopefully these sit like all the others.

Oh these were absolutely disintegrated. I had em sole swapped a while ago and been waiting for the right day

That's a great question and a good opportunity for me marinate on it. They're extremely plain but someone put a lot of thought and intent into this c/w and that really resonates with a lot of people.

• Swoosh and tongue tag isn't fully black, they're super slightly gray
• yellow back tab
• Green embroidery and tongue text
• gum bottom

Design wise, it's a really good example of trying to do more with less to make something wearable but still interesting. There's nothing fancy about em but if you're a fan of AF1s from that era, there's nothing like em.
For a few years they were hard to find so that added to their mythology, i see em more now.

These were not a collaboration but a great (and different) colorway for the time. They became hard to come by for a lot of U.S. folks.

Had the beautiful early 2000's shape. Great leather. And that yellow hit on the back is so great. A Cold Wall's AF1 was inspired by these. The gum bottom just completes the greatness.

I highly doubt this will be the new shape for all AF1's moving forward. I wish.

But it's been stated by reliable people that we'll be getting more pairs and collaborations in particular with this shape.

Makes sense as they wouldn't waste a factory mold on just the Nigo's & white on white Nigo's.
