If you have any tangible reason to believe Prime's going to be fine in a post-Hunter/Shadeur era, I'd love to hear it.

He's not recruiting at a high level. He's openly admitted an unwillingness to get out on the road to see recruits. He's not even really doing all that well in the portal. Tons of volume, not a ton of pop. And building that way is unsustainable to begin with.

He's not hired great or even good coaching staffs. He's burning through coordinators. He's not doing anything on the field that leads you to believe he's a long-term schematic advantage guy.

WHY is he going to be fine?

IF somehow Ewers is out for Oklahoma and Arch goes out there and lights it up it’ll be interesting to see what they do. I don’t think you bench a healthy Ewers for him though. He was a pass break up away from taking them to the natty last year.

This Saturday will be full of overreactions when Arch torches ULM though. We already saw Primes spokesman bump a year old thread about it :{

Sark is letting the media hype Arch and telling Ewers to rest to keep Arch happy and from transferring.

If they played Oklahoma tomorrow, Ewers would be playing.

CFB media may be, but Steve’s not dumb.

Arch isn't transferring regardless because he will be the starter at Texas next year
I think he's happy at Texas, but unfortunately that isn't how the current transfer portal era works.

Players transfer unexpectedly and for varying reasons all the time. We keep wanting to believe QB is different, but it really isn't.
