I don't get it either. I understand that he is talented but at some point, Quinn is who he is. He plays on arguably the most talented team in the country with an elite play caller as a head coach and one of the best defenses in the nation to cover up his mistakes and he is still average as grits.

Look at the Georgia SEC title game, if Texas didn't have any leak defense they likely get blown out in that game because Quinn was missing a lot of easy ones.

There isn't enough room for 4 games tomorrow. Each is a 3-4 hour event and all 4 games are on ESPN. They'd have to share with another network if they wanted to do 4 on Jan 1 and they're not gonna do that.

I know we have some vets in here (@tupac003 @dragicon atlsfinest and some others I'm forgetting) and did you guys know about this website? Sounds like it gives free tickets to veterans and an SC fan told me they had a ton of Rose Bowl tickets up there, so I imagine there's probably some for other games too:

It’s hit or miss. Sometimes it a lottery, sometimes it’s FCFS. Sometimes you’re in the nose bleeds, sometimes you’re lucky in a suite or suite level.

Really depends on interest level on what’s available. I almost always put in for tickets when the Bucs travel and are near Houston. Last season I won suite level tickets to for the Texans/Bucs game through the site. One of the first people I saw standing at the bar was Mike Alstott. I was surprised he was in Houston since he still lives Florida.

Unrelated to VetTix, but I kept my Bucs tickets for over a decade, even though I wasn’t station in Florida. I gave a kid that worked for me when I stationed in Savannah tickets to the Bills game and he ran into Doug Flutie. Anyway, it was neat for him because he’s from Buffalo and has been a huge Bills fan his whole life. The funny thing is, Flutie was wearing some vintage zebra print Starter gear from the ‘90s I’m sure he kept all those years.

Also, the Bucs actually let me do my promotion to Chief Warrant Officer on the Pirate Ship. So we flew down from Mobile, AL, landed, went to the stadium, did the ceremony, then they gave us a behind the scenes tour if Raymond James. I’m actually trying to see if the Cowboys will let my Maintenance Chief do his re-enlistment on the field in January. I got the Saints to do that for one my guys in ‘10. So, if anyone is interested, especially military, it never hurts to ask to do something special like that. The worst they can tell you is no.

Anyway, I know that was long-winded, but I think most military are aware of the site, but it’s still nice that you’re passing that info because I’m sure there still is a minoring that are unaware. Only thing that sucks is sometimes the site will hit you with a “you need to take a pic to verify” . So, outside of feeling like a tool for a few seconds while you’re taking a pic with a “Thank You VetTix” sign, you can’t really complain about free.

Alabama ending the season on a whimper very fittingly. Not trying to hear anymore complaints over the selections, they had no business in the CFP this year.

Kudos to Blue, back to back big wins to close out a disappointing season. Jordan Marshall looks like he could be a future stud
