im still holding onto hope that the pitching staff will catch fire late season and a 10 game losing streak by the first place team ala 2010. i still believe. :evil
:lol I like your optimism
but we're not chasing the Padres here

Zito to the bullpen.
How long does it take for him to warm up? Does he have to start greasing up with the starters? :lol

Watched the last 3 innings at dinner with my mom. Mentioned I wanted to see Big Time Timmy Jim pitch and she goes on her iphone and buys tickets. Pretty stoked. Bummed about B Will though. I just got into baseball a couple years ago and I picked the Giants based on their pitching staff. At least I get to see Timmy.

I have respect for you, good sir. Most people who just pick up baseball dig it for the long ball and hate pitchers duels.

Nonetheless, I hope you get to see the Lincecum of Cy Young's past and not the struggling erratic one we've seen the last two seasons.

I mean, I love a homer as much as the next guy and Brandon Crawford's was awesome last evening. I got swept up like every kid and fan did I think and wanted to be Big Mac cranking homers left and right but I grew up playing futbol and basketball so they got most of my attention. I truly enjoy the subtle nuances of a great pitching match up and Price/Timmy should be awesome.

That is what my Cubs fan buddy said. He hopes Timmy pitches an awesome game and gets a W while I am at the Trop. I kind of want him to sign my Cooperstown Classics hat that I got earlier this season but I doubt it will happen lol.

If you somehow get close enough to him around the dugout before its time to warm up I think you have a good shot at getting him to sign it. Timmy's a pretty chill guy, never alienates himself from the fans at from what I've seen.

Timmy was definitely  awesome to watch. Would have been better to see B Will close behind him lol. He had a lot of his fastballs sinking really low into the dirt though throughout the game. Tons of wasted men on base as well. sad to see Timmy not get the win but really enjoyed my first MLB and Giants game.

I am not going to say I know a ton yet, but is it just me or did it seem Bochy blew through all or most of our relievers and closers and then just loaded the bases to have Myers hit that last pitch on what seemed a center fastball? I was kind of upset to see that.

If someone does sign him they'll have to surrender a high draft pick. IMO Timmy will be back same with Pence.

Agreed. And if they aren't for some reason that means they should have been traded at the deadline.
