Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

Unbelievable :{

:rollin

I was at the game today, once Romo walked in the tying run it was over. The crowd was into it. Before the bottom half of the 9th there was a montage on the jumbotron from the Braves comeback against San Fran a couple years back. It culminated with a Freddie Freeman walkoff single. He did it again!

For the record, Romo's 3-2 pitch to Justin Upton was a ball.  I understand Romo was fired up and wanted the call.....and it WAS kind of close.  But in no way was that a strike.  People will be quick to blame the error, but Romo needs to not put the tying run on for free.  Nothing drives me more insane than closers walking batters in close games.

I didn't like pitching around Gattis either. But I can't let Arias off the hook,we should've gotten one out at the very least on that play.

I am not letting him off the hook either....as that play needs to be made.  However, physical errors are 100% more excusable than walking the tying run in the 9th inning of a 1 run game.  Like i said, the walk turned the inning into a potential rally/stress inning.  If Gattis hits a homerun, at least he earned it.  Putting the tying run on base for free is inexcusable.  Its too bad too.  Romo normally has impeccable control.

Lincecum actually giving us a decent performance, given his history in Atlanta, and we decide to **** the bed at the plate.

Wheeler would've been nice right about now. Trade wouldn't look as bad if they could've kept Beltran.
