Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

^Exactly. The Giants are still in it. This may go down to the end of the season.

We just played 7 games against the Cardinals and the Pirates, and we have gained 1.5 games on the Dodgers in the process.

I know you all are as disappointed as I am that we haven't closed the gap more.  But if I was to tell you guys a week ago that we would gain 1.5 games on the Dodgers after a road trip where we faced the Pirates and Cardinals, every single one of you would have taken that.

We should all thank the Dodgers for completely falling apart during our tough stretch :lol

Affeldt hurt himself on off day

I feel like this has been written a few times before

It would not be in Affeldt's nature to get injured in a conventional way.

Clearly he hasn't learned yet. He needs to hire someone to play with his kids and wash his car. Dam shame.

Going to sound like a broken record, but.....

Barry Zito's contract > Matt Cain's contract

This bum has to go. This HAS to be his final start this year. Dude is beyond trash now.

Madbum > Cain
Peavy > Cain
Leake > Cain
Heston > Cain
Hudson > Cain
Vogelsong > Cain
Lincecum > Cain
Petit > Cain

In fact, I would not argue with anyone who claimed that Cain is the worst starter in the National League.

He's been bad... The worst I don't know about that. I've seen enough goodnight.

Can they send him to Sacramento for him to figure this **** out?

Seriously asking. Can he be sent to AAA?

Now Crawford out with tightness in his left side. This month has been a disaster for injuries.
