.257 4 HR 19 RBIs in 43 games. His only XBH since the 2010 NLCS are home runs. One against Texas, two against the Reds and his HR in Game 4 of the 2012 WS.
Yeah man...Posey is not consistent in the postseason. Most likely the wear and tear of playing catcher the whole season + playoffs is affecting his AB's.
If their bullpen gives any slight chance they have to capitalize. 2nd and 3rd with one out, Posey and Pablo are retired on 5 pitches combined when Herrera was showing slight signs of vulnerability.
- Starting pitching has to be better than KC. Hudson settled down and really get into a groove but we played behind the 8 ball the entire night, we have no shot playing this way.
- Herrera can be beaten. Davis and Holland cannot. Herrera is a better version of Strickland but if we can get to the 7th with the lead we'll be in good shape.
- Posey needs better ABs. He's been subpar and it's really hurting us with him in the heart of the lineup.
