Anybody watching the 30 for 30 right now? Can't believe its going to be 25 years in a few days. I remember as soon as school was out, instead of staying after school and playing sports like I did everyday, walked home to finish my homework so I can watch the game. When 5 o'clock rolled around I was flipping back and forth between the pre game and the Brady brunch and immediately ducked and covered. Our house was fine in nob hill besides broken china and the power being out but it was the scariest day and night of my life. Especially when youre just a kid and with all the aftershocks and the whole city pitch black, you can't help but to expect something else happening.
I was at Silver st. at the time getting babysat. I was two at the time though so all I could remember was a dresser rumbling back and forth on a wall.
